paeonies in jug
Our paeonies were battered by the recent storm but the wonderful thing about these flowers is that you can pick the tightest bud, put it in water and it will still bloom to utter perfection. It's not surprising they make a wonderful flower export.

Fun with coloured slips
We recently held a two weekend workshop working with coloured slip decoration. It was so much fun and wonderfully free squirting colours all over the place and mixing them up.

The dotties
Another sideways trip down experimental alley - another glaze to go to tidy up a few loose ends as is usually required when experimenting with new ideas but they're fun and make me smile.
And here is glaze two. Some good bits and some not so good bits. More work to do.

My Bettys
In year two, we were asked to select a potter and copy a work. I chose Betty Woodman and "My Bettys" aimed to look like something she'd made. Betty died last week and I have to thank her for providing the inspiration for much of my work - tall forms with useless handles and a love of glaze.
